We had such an outpouring of support before Flip Hacking Live that we had to divide into two groups! One group worked with Clean the World to pack hygiene kits to be delivered to individuals who were displaced from the Hurricane. This amazing organization works to eliminate waste from hygiene products and upcycle not only the plastics but also unused soaps and shampoos. These products are then shipped to areas of destitution or devastation. Our second group delivered meal boxes to those in need and helped clean up debris from the hurricane. This group put rental vehicles to work hauling out all of the branches and fallen trees. A few hours given by our volunteers had a lasting impact on the community and individuals who had their worlds turned upside down from natural disaster.
