The story

A community served for the first time

In partnership with Homes of Hope, our team stepped into a community in San Salvador that had long hoped to be served — and became the first group ever to bring this kind of change to the area.

After local leaders built trust and connection, they welcomed our volunteers in to build homes for families in need. As we worked, the community embraced us. Children gathered around, neighbors joined in, and the build became a true collaboration rather than something done for the community — it was done with them.

This was more than construction. It changed the lives of the families receiving new homes, and it deeply changed the volunteers, who left with full hearts and a renewed sense of what's possible when people simply show up for one another.
