Fourteen volunteers began the build-out of a dignity-first grocery store.

Fourteen volunteers gave their time to help begin the build-out of a grocery store for The Shepherd’s Table — building dividing walls, clearing old drywall, and cleaning out a storage area.

The store was designed as a dignified shopping experience rather than a food pantry, giving shoppers who lack the means to shop at traditional grocery stores a sense of dignity and choice.
